Jenrick Bagayas, the founder of Mang Crinkle, started with nothing but a suitcase, a hardworking family, and a fire to make something out of every opportunity. Brought to Aotearoa by his dad, alongside his mum and siblings, he dove headfirst into the grind, cleaning floors, flipping pillows in hotels, sweating in kitchens, and eventually learning the ropes of running food businesses.
Every job taught him something. Every shift, every burn on his arm, every mistake in the kitchen sharpened his craft. And through it all, one thing stayed constant: the dream to bring something real, bold, and unmistakably Filipino to New Zealand’s table.
Enter Mang Crinkle a tribute to heritage, hustle, and hella good cookies.
These aren’t your average crinkles. These are Filipino-inspired bites of nostalgia, packed with soul and modern flair, ube, matcha, chocolate mint, and more. Made for the sweet tooth of every Kiwi, Māori, Polynesian, Asian, and anyone who knows a good thing when they taste it.
But this is more than just cookies. This is a movement.
With lattes on the horizon and sauces in the works, Mang Crinkle is here to disrupt the cookie game and rewrite the rules. We're not here to play safe, we’re here to serve joy in a box. Whether you're ordering one piece or a dozen, you're tasting the grind, the culture, and the flavor of a dream baked new.
So go on take a bite. It's more than a crinkle.
It’s a story you can taste.
